ARDEX AF 241 is an internal water based permanent wet set adhesive designed to allow immediate installation of sheet carpet over well prepared substrates. ARDEX AF 241 is formulated with low VOC content and has effective dimensional stability reducing any potential for shrinkage and expansion.
Floor Coverings:
For the following sheet carpet backing structures including:
- Axminster™ and Action Bac™
- Jute, Needle punched and Polypropylene
- Secondary backed including textile and foam
- Woven and knitted backing Unitary backed carpet
- Not to be used for PVC backings, consult ARDEX for other carpet backings
Substrates:
- Hardboard underlayment approved to AS 1859
- Carpet pad underlay
- Cementitious underlayment and concrete with less than 5.5% moisture content or 70% RH
- Contact Technical Services for other substrates
Location:
- Internal permanent installation
Coverage:
- Using a 2.4mm V-Notch trowel approximately 3m2/L
Set up Time:
- Wet set – install immediately
Packaging:
- 15L pail containing 18kg of adhesive
