Duram Multithane STD is a premium, single-pack, moisture-curing liquid membrane designed for high-performance waterproofing. This self-levelling polyurethane cures to form a seamless, tough, and highly elastic (Class 3) barrier. Engineered for versatility, it provides superior adhesion to most primed building substrates, making it the industry standard for non-exposed waterproofing applications.
Compliance & Australian Standards
- AS4858:2004: Certified for internal wet area membranes (bathrooms, showers).
- AS4654.2: Compliant for exterior, non-UV exposed structures like podiums.
- Green Star: Low VOC compliant for sustainable and eco-friendly building projects.
Formulated with biological growth inhibitors and excellent chemical resistance, Multithane STD is available in Grey. For areas requiring UV resistance or higher viscosity, consider the Multithane UV or HV variants.

Substrate Compatibility & Preparation
Multithane STD is compatible with concrete, cement render, FC sheeting, and masonry. Important: All surfaces must be primed. Use Duram Primeseal for timber, bitumen, or particle board. For best results in wet areas, replace particle board with CFC sheeting.
Technical Specifications
- Coverage: 1.5 to 2.0 litres per m² total (applied in two coats).
- Dry Film Thickness (DFT): Minimum 1.2mm required for compliance.
