Professional Polyurethane Waterproofing Primer
Duram Multiseal is a high-performance, moisture-curing, single-pack liquid polyurethane penetrating waterproofing primer. Specifically formulated to complement Duram Multithane and Duram 195 membranes, it is manufactured from identical resins to ensure an exceptionally strong chemical bond through advanced cross-link technology.
Why Use Multiseal as a Primer?
- Enhanced Adhesion: Significantly improves the bond and performance of subsequent membranes.
- Surface Preparation: Effectively 'locks-down' dust and loose materials for a cleaner application.
- Application Efficiency: Improves the spreading and coverage of Multithane and Duram 195.
- Secondary Protection: Provides a penetrative secondary waterproof barrier when applied in multiple coats.
Note: Multiseal is a penetrative sealer and should not be used as a primary waterproofing membrane. Use only in conjunction with Duram Multithane or Duram 195.
Applications and Suitable Surfaces
Duram Multiseal is formulated to prime a wide variety of surfaces including:
- Concrete, cement, and cement render
- Timber and Plaster Board
- Fibre-cement sheeting
- Brick and block work
Ensure the surface is dry and free of contaminants prior to application. Multiseal cures upon contact with water vapour in the air after the solvent evaporates.
