Maxseal Flex Kit

Flexible Two-Component Waterproofing Mortar

MAXSEAL® FLEX is a high-performance, two-component coating system. Component A consists of a water-based special acrylic resin, while Component B is a mortar blend of special cements, additives, and well-graded aggregates.

Once cured, MAXSEAL® FLEX creates a non-toxic, flexible, and waterproof barrier with exceptional adhesion to common construction substrates including concrete, natural stone, bricks, and concrete blocks.

Primary Application Fields

  • Water Storage: Waterproofing of drinking water tanks, reservoirs, and swimming pools.
  • Below-Grade Structures: Protection for basements, retaining walls, foundations, and tunnels against high positive and negative water pressure.
  • Building Protection: External waterproofing for façades against dampness, rain, and pollution.
  • Civil Engineering: Concrete protection against carbonation, freeze-thaw cycles, and de-icing salts on bridges, dams, and highways.
  • Wet Areas: Waterproofing under tiles in terraces, balconies, bathrooms, and kitchens.
  • Landscaping: Protection for window boxes and gardens against root penetration.

Key Advantages

  • Full Flexibility: Ensures complete waterproofing even under severe hydrostatic pressure.
  • Crack Bridging: Effectively covers shrinkage and hairline cracks in concrete.
  • Breathable: Permeable to water vapor, allowing the substrate to breathe while remaining waterproof.
  • Chemical Resistance: Acts as a barrier against CO2, chlorine, and salt water corrosion.
  • Potable Water Safe: Non-toxic and chloride-free; certified for contact with drinking water.
  • UV Resistant: Withstands solar radiation and atmospheric pollution for long-lasting durability.

Consumption Rates

MAXSEAL® FLEX is typically applied in two coats at 1 – 1.5 kg/m2 per coat. Total estimated consumption is 2 – 3 kg/m2, depending on substrate porosity and condition.
