MAPEI Aquaflex Roof Grey: Fiber-Reinforced Waterproofing
MAPEI Aquaflex Roof Grey is a ready-to-use, flexible liquid membrane formulated with synthetic resins in a water dispersion. Reinforced with high-strength fibres, it creates a continuous, seamless waterproofing layer on exposed external surfaces, providing exceptional resistance to UV rays and weathering.
Technical Performance Data
- Consistency: High-viscosity paste for easy application.
- Application Temperature: Between +5°C and +35°C.
- Inter-coat Waiting Time: 8-12 hours depending on humidity.
- Foot Traffic: Set to light traffic in 12 hours at +23°C.
- Total Thickness: Minimum 1 mm dry film thickness (achieved in 2 coats).
Application & Consumption Rates
This membrane can be applied via roller, brush, or trowel. It is suitable for concrete, cementitious screeds, and bituminous membranes.
- Standard Waterproofing: Minimum 2 kg/m².
- Smooth Bituminous Substrates: Approx. 0.5 kg/m².
- Slate-chip Bituminous Substrates: Approx. 0.9 kg/m².
Packaging & Storage
Available in 5kg and 20kg drums. Store in a cool, dry place; product remains stable for 24 months in original sealed packaging.
