ARDEX AF 748 is a high-performance, wet set acrylic adhesive specifically engineered for professional flooring installations. It provides rapid grab to lock linoleum in place, effectively managing "Roll Set" and manufacturing marks while minimizing shrinkage and expansion. The formula remains heat-reactivatable, allowing for precise adjustments during complex layouts.
Key Applications & Approved Substrates
- Hardboard Underlayment: Compliant with AS 1859 standards.
- Cementitious Underlayment: Compliant with AS 2908 standards.
- Dry Concrete: Ideal for substrates with < 5.5% moisture content or < 70% RH.
- Specialty Surfaces: Compatible with terrazzo, ceramic tiles, and metal (Contact ARDEX Technical Services for specific guidance).
Technical Specifications
- Installation Location: Internal permanent areas.
- Coverage Rate: Approx. 3m² per litre (approx. 45m² per 15L pail) using a 2.4mm V-Notch trowel.
