ARDEX A 48 is a rapid set cement screed preparation that has been designed for all types of floor coverings and is especially effective when installing moisture sensitive coverings. The rapid cure allows floor coverings to be installed quicker than regular screeds.

Thickness:
The nominal screed thickness is:
- Unbonded at least 35mm; and preferably 40mm thick
- Bonded screed it must be at least 15mm
Coverage:
- A 20kg bag of ARDEX A 48 will cover approximately 1m2 per 10mm of thickness
Drying Times:
- Can be walked on and is ready to receive tiles and non-moisture sensitive natural stone after 4 hours
- Ready to receive ARDEX Undertile Butynol WPM 750 and smoothing cements after 24 hours
- Ready to receive ARDEX approved liquid undertile membranes, resilient and textile floor coverings and parquet after 2 days
