ARDEX AF 271 is a high-performance, acrylic water-based adhesive engineered for the semi-permanent (releasable) installation of carpet tiles and underlays. This solvent-free, low-VOC formula provides an aggressive initial grab and a long-lasting pressure-sensitive tack, making it the preferred choice for commercial and residential internal flooring projects requiring future tile replacement.

Technical Specifications
- Suitable Floor Coverings: Vinyl-backed carpet tiles, VCT, and non-vinyl backed tiles (for permanent bonds).
- Coverage (Roller): Approximately 8–10m² per Litre for smooth-backed tiles.
- Coverage (Trowel): Approximately 5.0m² per Litre using a 1.6mm V-Notch trowel.
- Packaging: 15L Pail (approx. 18kg).
- Color: Dries to a clear, tacky film (White when wet).
Installation & Working Time
Ensure substrates are clean, dry, and free of dust before application. For semi-permanent installations, allow the adhesive to ventilate until it becomes clear and tacky. The working time is maintained indefinitely in releasable applications, provided the surface remains free of contaminants.
