Uni-Seal is a solvent based topical sealer (surface sealer or coating) that provides a wet looking finish.
- Indoor and outdoor use
- High resistance to oil and waterborne staining
- Excellent UV resistance
- For use on concrete, natural stone, slate and porous tiles
- Can be stripped using our Safe Stripper and HDC
- NOT recommended for wet areas
Where to Use
- Internal & external ‘textured’ porous tile, stone and concrete surfaces
- Natural stones such as Slate, Travertine, Limestone, Marble, Granite & Sandstone
- Terracotta (not recommended for terracotta garden pots)
- Concrete Pavers, Terrazzo, Tessellated Tiles
- Concrete Floors
Where NOT to Use it
- Smooth Ceramic Tiles or Polished Porcelain
- Wet areas (bathroom/shower floors, water features, around swimming pools)
Expected Wear
Weather conditions, harsh cleaning methods using high-alkaline, acid or solvent-based cleaners will affect the sealers long term performance. Under normal conditions the sealer will last up to 2 years following correct maintenance. However in high traffic areas it is recommended to be reapplied every 6-12 months.
Coverage
Coverage will depend on the porosity of the substrate, temperature and method of application. Approximate coverage allows for 2 coats and is as follows:
- Sandstone, Limestone – 6-8 square metres per litre
- Terracotta, Slate, Granite – 8-10 square metres per litre
- Marble, Travertine – 10-12 square metres per litre
- Terrazzo, Tessellated – 12-15 square metres per litre
